Lapworth Community Event

Lapworth held its inaugural Community Event on Saturday 9th May at the Village Hall. Led by Cllr Mark Stevens and supported by the Parish Council, over 20 groups and organisations came together. Many residents visited and discovered what is on offer to join in the village.

 

The Lapworth Primary School choirs were excellent, there was face painting and games for the kids, demos from various groups and the cakes supplied by many groups including the WI were, as always, delicious.

 

 

…and the kids loved playing with the lights in the Police car.

 

Every household in Lapworth will receive the Lapworth Guide in the next weeks – a great legacy of the event.

  

 

 

 

The ‘Spring’ photography competition was won by Alicia Chenu, Joyce Chenu and Jasper Gillott – well done all!
