Next Parish Council Meeting

The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Mon 9th March, 2026 at 7:30 PM, at Village Hall.

Meeting are held every month, with the exception of August, in Lapworth Village Hall.  We are responsible to you, the residents of Lapworth and are volunteers, willing to give our time to, and do our best to maintain and improve the Village.

We feel it is important for you to know what we have been doing  on your behalf, it is also very important for you to tell us if you have any concerns, requests or otherwise and give us the opportunity to help if we are able.

The Council represents the local community, delivers services to meet local needs and seeks to improve conditions in the Parish. In addition it provides, maintains, or has input into, the following services:

  • Open spaces

It’s activities are funded by a precept from council tax. This precept is collected by the District Council on the Parish Council’s behalf. The Parish Council can also apply for grants to fund specific activities and projects.
